Corner Shower Curtain RodA corner shower curtain rod is a curved piece of equipment that will extend from one bathroom wall to the middle of another wall, as opposed to a regular curtain rod, which of course runs in a straight line from one wall to another.Why would you want one of these curved rods? It may be that you have a small shower or tub that is positioned at an angle, and that doesn't take up the entire length of a wall. In this case, a standard shower curtain rod wouldn't work, because the shower curtain wouldn't cover a section of the angled shower and your bathroom floor would get wet next to the unprotected section. Or maybe you only stand in the front half of your shower and don't need a curtain to cover the entire thing. Or you may have a small tub or shower stall and then, right beside it, a sink or a toilet, and you don't want to cover up the sink or toilet with your shower curtain. Whatever your reason for getting one, a corner shower curtain rod usually costs between twenty and thirty dollars, and is installed the same basic way that a wall-to-wall straight rod would be installed. You most likely won't need a longer curtain to fit your corner rod, either. Just be diligent about taking careful measurements before you go out and buy one; it will have to fit precisely, after all! |
